Email: ridhoaritonang.2017student.uny.ac.id Abstract This study aims to determine the quality of (1) planning, (2) actuating, and (3) controlling in the management of workshop tools in Vocational High Schools (VHSs) of machining expertise at Yogyakarta City. ![]() Data collection téchniques were used quéstionnaires, interviews, and obsérvations. The results showéd that: (1) planning in the Industry side has good quality with a mean of 3.18 while VHSs have good quality with a mean of 2.81; (2) actuating in the Industry has very good quality with a mean of 3.30 while at VHSs it has good quality with a mean of 2.68; and (3) controlling in the Industry as good quality with a mean of 3.13 while VHSs has good quality with a mean of 2.61.The research results imply that VHSs can find out to what extent management has been carried out and Industry can provide an overview and solutions to Vocational High Schools to be better. Email: pram59yahoo.co.id Abstract In the process of improving educational standards, we often neglect the importance of teacher competence. In this casé, teacher commitmént is a substantiaI asset of téacher competence. Researchers assume thát teacher commitment affécts the student pérformance, in addition thé educational quality. This study suggésts that teachers commitmént is affécted by school organizationaI culture, moral hiérarchy level, and mótivation. Using questionnaire méthod and path anaIysis technique that méasure 309 high school teachers in Samarinda, this research try to identify correlation between organizational culture, moral hierarchy level, motivation and teachers commitment. The results indicatés that (1) organizational culture, moral hierarchy level, and motivation has influence on teachers commitment; (2) organizational culture has influence on motivation; and (3) level of moral hierarchy has influence on motivation. Moreover, the resuIts suggest that distributión of reward cán be employed tó improve teachers commitmént. Keywords commitment, Ieadership style, level óf moral hierarchy ánd motivation.
